Course Schedule
The Certified Nursing Assistant Program is an accelerated curriculum that prepares students to pass the Washington State Nursing Assistant exam and begin a career in the healthcare industry. As part of your curriculum you will also earn an AHA Healthcare Provider CPR and First Aid card, and the 7 hour HIV-AIDS certification you will need for licensing.
The
"classroom" section of the course generally runs for two weeks with the hours varying dependent on day or evening schedule. All classes are held at the Northwest Regional Training Center, located at 11606 NE 66th Circle, Suite 103, in Vancouver, Washington.
The
"clinical" section of the course generally runs for two weeks with the hours varying dependent on day or evening schedule. The location of the clinical section also varies as this is the section of the program where students have the opportunity to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an actual nursing home or other long-term care facility.
Following completion of both phases of the program, the student will be granted a certificate of completion which allows the student to sit for the state exam. The cost of the exam is not covered in the tuition and other fees.
Program Tuition and Other Fees
Students need to pay a non-refundable application fee of $70 at the time they submit their application.
Pay the Full Balance by the First Day of Class.
The full cost of the program if paid by the first day of class is $725, which includes the $70 application fee.
Pay in Two Installments
Students have the option of paying in two installments. Under this option, the student must pay the $70 application fee plus $455 by the first day of class.
