Erosion & Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) Training - Initial

cost is non refundable unless we cancel the class.

Do you need a Construction Stormwater General Permit for Ecology? If your project disturbs over an acre of land or is in a subdivision, you probably do. One of the requirements of this permit starts in October: all sites disturbing over an acre must have a Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL). The CESCL is trained to inspect, install, and manage stormwater controls on your site.

Because the Department of Ecology requires the CESCL to be on-call or on-site at all times, most companies will need more than one employee trained as a CESCL.

The course explains the erosion process and how to apply and comply with the stormwater permit. The course also provides detailed instruction on how to develop a stormwater plan, select and maintain stormwater controls and accurately sample stormwater. The Northwest Regional Training Centers' CESCL certification class will give you the tools you need to comply with local and state stormwater requirements.

This class also meets CESCL requirements for recertification.
