Respiratory Protection Class/ Fit Testing

This class teaches students the proper use of respiratory equipment and situations when respiratory protection is required. Anyone who uses this type of equipment in the course of his or her work is recommended to attend. Hazards such as smoke, vapors, fumes, dust and others are discussed. This class teaches proper ventilation techniques and WISHA requirements outlined in WAC 296-62 Part E.

The length of the class can change depending on the number of employees being fit tested.

Required Frequency of Training: Annually

Please come clean shaven and bring your respiratory mask with you.

Prerequisites: Please come clean shaven with your mask.
